Gerald Grob, one of the great historians of psychiatry, has submitted his statement to the blog h-madness' series on "How I Became a Historian of Psychiatry." Having read much of Grob's work many years ago and been much impressed by his intelligence and good judgment, I was quite moved by this piece.
